In this issue, we bring you Jessica Stewart of Paso Robles, CA.,
a Medical Billing Course graduate who signed her first client within
one week of completing our course!

Jessica grew up in Weldon, CA on a cattle farm where Jessica's father is
a rancher. This certainly goes to show that successful Medical Billing
Business owners come from all walks of life. I believe Jessica was
raised with a sense of "if you want to accomplish something, just
go out and do it."

"We decided, as a family, that I needed to find something to do
out of our home so that I could stay home with our daughter Cora,"
explains Jessica. We opted for Medical Billing
because we knew it was a business that others have done well in. Initially,
I was a little leery because I had absolutely NO PAST EXPERIENCE in this
field. After a long talk with Tammy Harlan of Medical Billing
Course.com, Murt and I decided to take the plunge into a career in
Medical Billing.

I grew up on a cow/calf operation as a rancher's daughter. The work
ethic I have learned from my father is what drives me to succeed and
strive for the best! I am not a stranger to hard work!
I have began a new life and am loving every minute of it! I am able to
stay at home with my daughter and I'm finding that I love working with
physician's and that I am very passionate about my work. To get up every
morning and be excited about what you do is worth a million bucks! I am
so excited to see what the future brings.
Jessica now has 3 clients and has just taken on a 4th client, a large
multi-disciplinary practice!
Jessica's advice - "Don't be afraid to take risks in life, you won't get far
if you don't try!"

Jessica graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CA prior to meeting her
husband, Murton Stewart, from Bishop, CA. Murton & Jessica married and
moved to Wasco, CA, where Jessica was employed as a first grade teacher
for the Wasco Union School District for four years. Murton was
self-employed and his business required him to be out of town, so they
made the decion to move to Paso Robles, CA so that they could spend time
together as a family. This was a huge decision for Murton & Jessica.
This is a family that requires two incomes. In order to move, Jessica
had to quit her job.
