Kathie Lloyd Signs Large Client AFTER 5 WEEKS! |
|
|
|
"I am SOOOOO excited!!!!!!This is without a
doubt the greatest day of my new billing center
career! For five weeks I have been "courting" a
pediatrician with four offices (each with
physician staff) to become her Full Practice Manager.
Today, I presented my final Proposal and she signed
with me!!!! YIPPPEEEE!!!!! My Proposal was not
intended to be a legal document. I intended to return
next week with a Contract naming the specific
items/functions. The Pediatrician said she wanted
me, and did not need a formal contract. My Proposal
was good enough for her. She literally wrote across
the bottom of the signature page this WAS her
Contract, signed and dated it.
She didn't try to renegotiate my retainer. She didn't
try to renegotiate my hourly rate. When she opens
her fifth and sixth offices I will assume the billing for
those offices. I will continue to work to get the billing
for her four existing offices as there WILL be
conflicts with the existing biller (who firmly believes
denials and appeals cannot be submitted if not done
within 30 days). We will cross that bridge, soon
enough, as everything will channel through me. She
will no longer get ALL the original EOBs. Denied
revenues will no longer be just written off as they
have been for the past two years!!!
